The “Hotel & Restaurant Association of Haryana” (HRAH) was formed in Feb 1996 with just 8 Members of the private sector.

Mr. Manbeer Choudhary was elected as The Founder President. All the 8 founder members were determined to bring all Private Hotels, Restaurants, Clubs & Resorts Owners of Haryana to encourage the feeling of Fraternity in the Hospitality family of State.

Earlier until 90’s in Haryana the word Tourism was synonymous to Haryana Tourism Complex only and was restricted to Transit or Highway Tourism. Once the private entrepreneurs ventured into this field there was no looking back.

Today HRAH can boast of nearly 62 owner members representing Hotels, Restaurants, Clubs & Resorts. Three 5 Star Deluxe Hotels, Five 4 Star Hotels, nearly Thirty 3 Star Properties and world class Golf Clubs, Restaurants & Resorts have come up in Haryana in the last one-decade.
